The Delaware-based chain, Capriotti's rules the sandwich world in Vegas. Capriotti's offers fresh-baked white, white or kaiser rolls stuffed to the top with your choice of meats including homemade turkey or roast beef (a nice change from processed deli meats) or hot sandwiches like hot or sweet sausage, or cheese steak. Specialty sandwiches to try are the Capastrami (hot pastrami, cole slaw, swiss and Russian dressing) and the very popular "Bobbie" (turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing and mayo). The 12" sub is ample for two people. Other sizes are 9" and 20". Vegeterarian meats are also on the menu including a meatless turkey or cheese steak sandwich. The service is generally very friendly. It gets very busy at lunch time, but the wait is worth it for a sub that is well above par.
