It is estimated by the ASPCA that 75 million dogs are kept as pets in the United States. That means approximately one in five American households have a canine pal in the family. With nearly two million residents, Las Vegas has an estimated 400,000 pooches. Man's best friend needs green places to run, jump, fetch and sniff the butts of their fellow dogs.
