Bio: Chris Giunchigliani is the current Clark County Commissioner serving District E which includes Las Vegas, and has held the post since she was elected in 2006. She was also a member of the Nevada Assembly from 1991 to 2006. Las Vegas Life Magazine named her "Best Role Model" due largely to her educational work with children, including those with severe emotional issues. Throughout her political career she has continued to work with the education system as both a teacher and an adviser.
She earned a Master's Degree in Education from UNLV and married Gary Gray in 1987. They have English bulldogs, enjoy reading, gardening, skiing and traveling. Chris and Gary have traveled to all seven continents.
Platform: Rebuilding schools and revitalizing neighborhoods while enhancing and increasing recreational areas and activities. She has a heavy focus on education and children while encouraging business investment.
