It should be of no surprise that master planned community Summerlin has one of the best 4th of July parades in the Las Vegas Valley. This year marks the 17th year this master planned community has celebrated America's birthday with the Summerlin Council Patriotic Parade, which continues to be the largest 4th of July parade in Southern Nevada.
From traditional floats to massive Macy's style balloons flying overhead to festive bands, The Summerlin Council Patriotic Parade is a sure bet to entertain kids and adults of all ages while reminding us all just what our country stands for. This year more than 40,000 people are expected to enjoy this free event. So get up early and head to the Trails Village at the corner of Hillpointe Road and Hills Center Drive . The parade begins at 8:30 AM
