The Las Vegas 51s bring professional Triple A baseball to town every summer. This Toronto Blue Jays affiliate plays at Cashman Field from April through September. Watch the 51s cap the season with a series against the Salt Lake Bees. Check out the complete schedule for the month. Promo nights include Fireworks and Flatscreens on September 2nd, Fain Appreciation night on September 3rd and celebrate Labor Day on Sept 5th.
Every month on the first Friday this legendary arts and entertainment festival dominates Fremont Street and the surrounding Downtown area. This month's First Friday takes place on Friday August 5th from 6:00 to 10:00 PM with numerous after parties and pub crawls. This Henderson farmers market staple now has two locations. The Thursday market runs from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM and is located at. 240 Water Street in downtown Henderson, NV in the Events Plaza and the Friday market runs from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM and is located at the at the Henderson Pavilion, 200 S. The markets take place on Saturdays at the Tivoli Village from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM and Sundays from 8:30 AM to 2:00PM at Sansone Park Place. Take the kids and grandparents and make it a family event.
It has been 10 years since the horrific events of 9-11 and like city's across the world Las Vegas will be hosting numerous remembrances over a three day period beginning Friday September 9th and culminating on Sunday September 11th. Some include a car show, the Heroes Parade and the 10th Anniversary Remembrance Gala at the Las Vegas Hilton, featuring Wayne Newton, Clint Holmes and many other local and surprise guest. all proceeds benefit the 911 Survivors fund and various affiliated charities.

The same folks who bring you The Outdoor Picture Show now bring you free concerts at The District at Green Valley Ranch. Every Friday and Saturday night from May through October these free concerts at The Courtyard feature local and regional acts from a wide variety of musical styles. Concerts usually run from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
Where else can you combine learning and beer? UNLV's Beer and Music Festival drops the hops on Friday September 16th with brews from Kona Brewing Company, Redhook Brewery and our local friends from Gordon Biersch. Hosted by the Royal Resort, this years fest promises to entertain and educate. Tickets run $25 and include a souvenir cup.
Get your Greek on with this annual yum fest featuring Greek Food and entertainment. Few things make me go yum more than an authentic gyro or souvlaki sandwich. This annual week long event returns to TPC Summerlin and Planet Hollywood. One of Las Vegas' most high profile charity events brings the worlds of golf and music together to support one of the country's greatest charities. Volunteer some time, toss a few bucks in the pot and come watch some great golf and entertainment. From September 25th - October 3rd.
