Las Vegas has some great ways to celebrate the 4th of July. With numerous fireworks displays to brighten up the night sky and illuminate the mountains that surround our city, few places I've been to can match the wonder and amazement of Las Vegas on Independence Day. While fireworks are the perennial favorite, the great 4th of July parades, featuring floats, patriotic bands and even the occasional water fight amply reward those who rise early to celebrate the birthday of our great country.
The following parades are among the best ways to show what kind of American you are. Grab the family, pack Grandpa up in the car and celebrate the founding of the Greatest Nation on Earth at these 4th of July parades across Las Vegas.

Boulder City Damboree Celebration
It is no surprise that Boulder City hosts one of the best 4th of July celebrations anywhere in Nevada, if not the West. Boulder City was born to house and feed those who built one of America's greatest innovations, the Hoover Dam. The men who built it, and the women who helped them, defined the American way of life in the early part of this century.
To remember and celebrate those days and the continuing greatness of America, the Boulder City Damboree Celebration is an all day event that begins with a parade and culminates with a great fireworks display. Beginning at 9:00 AM the parade, which feature the ever fun "water fight section" provides a day of fun for the whole family. Read More.
