The atmosphere
We decided to go for dinner on a weeknight and were somewhat surprised to see the restaurant was not very busy. We were seated right next to the bar, separated only by the wall of our booth. Both the employees and other patrons were noisy, suddenly yelling loudly at each other every so often for no discernible reason (we checked to see if there was a game on but there wasn't).
Beverages
The kids and I had soda and milk, which were refilled as needed. They we were out of two of the beers my husband asked about and he ultimately ended up just having the server suggest one.
Service
The hostess was nowhere to be found when we walked in and we waited a few minutes for her. We were seated as soon as she showed up and our server followed not long after. The kids' menu was on the back of the regular menu and the hostess only gave my husband and me one so we had to juggle them between the five of us. Drinks and orders were taken promptly and the server was on top of refills, and was also very friendly.
Food
My husband and I both ordered the Baked Cheese Tortelloni and the kids ordered a pizza and spaghetti and meatballs. The baked tortelloni was a veritable explosion of cheese, with six different varieties stuffed inside the giant tortelloni and poured over top. We were each only able to eat a few bites before so much cheese got to us. The kids enjoyed their pizza and spaghetti and only one had to bring home leftovers. My husband and I brought our leftovers home as well but discovered that re-heating didn't improve the taste.
