Service
I don't know how In-N-Out employees are trained, but it works. From the order taker at the drive-thru to the employees passing the bags through the window to the workers at the counter, we have never had an unpleasant experience. The employees are always friendly, helpful and actually seem happy to be at work. I have yet to find this at even many sit-down restaurants.Cleanliness
In-N-Out is the only fast food restaurant where I don't feel like I can't touch the table because you have no idea when it was last cleaned. There always seems to be at least one employee on the floor with a spray bottle and cloth, wiping down tables as soon as they're empty. The dining area is always free of clutter and trash, and employees are on the ball in making sure it stays that way.The Menu
In-N-Out uses freshly cut potatoes for their fries (you can even watch them do it), non-frozen beef patties, fresh vegetables and toppings, and uses no heat lamps, microwaves or freezers. The ordering menu is very simple: Burgers, cheeseburgers, fries, shakes and drinks. However, there is also a "secret menu" that you can use when ordering your burgers and fries. These aren't actually extra items but rather different ways to have the standards prepared.
