In a town where change is the norm, the Sterling Brunch Buffet at Bally's has not only lasted but thrived. For 25 years locals and visitors alike looking for the best Las Vegas buffet have flocked to the Bally's Steakhouse on Sundays to dine on everything from omelets and beef tenderloin to lobster and Sturgeon caviar.
As famous for their flutes of champagne upon entry as they are for their service, the Sterling Brunch revels in its reputation. From web polls to professional critics, this Sunday tradition has long dominated any list Best of Las Vegas Buffets.
Tuxedoed waiters and old school Vegas ambiance are only the beginning of what The Sterling Brunch has to offer. The spread of food at the Sterling defies the word extravagant. In truth it can be said to be overindulgent. And while the Sterling will most certainly remain a top dog among Las Vegas buffets it is neither cheap nor for the faint of heart.
Currently priced at about $85, the Sterling boasts proudly of its high roller status, even prompting guests to present diamond or platinum status. Essentially they're asking if you're a high roller and preferential treatment is granted to those who are. Therefore, while all are welcome, assuming you have the cash to drop, big whigs and fancy pants get the better tables, the better perks and do not need reservations.
So, is the Sterling worth it? If you're looking to splurge or celebrate or want to treat yourself after drawing that royal on video poker, then yes. The Sterling's combination of amazing food and good service and endless drinks are the perfect way to throw a bit of cash around and feel a bit more big time that you will at any other Las Vegas buffet. However, if you're looking for a quick meal at a decent price you're much better off at one of the innumerable buffets across town that treat the wallet a bit nicer.
