Las Vegas Thanksgiving Buffets

When you think of food in Las Vegas most people's minds turn to the numerous buffets that dot the Valley. As any local in the know can tell you a Las Vegas buffet is not a regular buffet. In Las Vegas the buffets often trump traditional restaurants for quality and selection. Don't believe me? then spend a Sunday Funday at the Sterling Brunch at Ballys.

Now for those of you locals who haven't taken advantage of the amazing buffet's across your city (shame on you what have you been doing?) then Thanksgiving is the perfect time to make the dive. With nearly s many buffets as there are potential food items you could make Thanksgiving dinner, brunch, lunch or breakfast at a buffet a yearly tradition and be fulfilled for decades.

Here is my list of some of the better buffets to venture out to over Thanksgiving Weekend. Most of these buffets will be offering special Thanksgiving meal fare. I have included the website so that you may cater your holiday meal to your liking. Reservations are recommended where appropriate.

The Buffet at Aria

Aria, as well as the rest of City Center, is one of the more amazing places to see and play in Las Vegas, so it is of little wonder that they also have a great buffet. Thanksgiving brings extra special vittles and new twists to this buffet's special Indian food selections. NOTE: The Aria Buffet is currently closed for restorations. Please check the website before making plans. when you're done snacking and gorging take in a performance of Zarkana.

The Bellagio Buffet

Still one of the crown jewels of the Las Vegas Strip the Bellagio also has a great buffet. Each Thanksgiving they complement their award winning spread with traditional turkey day fare. the beef wellington and king snow crab legs are top choices. Once your stuffed to the gills a leisurely stroll to view the Fountains of Bellagio is a great digestive aid.

Coast Casino Buffets

The casinos that are part of the Coast family have long been favorites of locals and visitors looking for a bargain. Bargain does not mean cheap, chintzy or lame however as some of the following buffets are among my personal favorites, both for price point and quality. All of them have a selection of Thanksgiving Day menu items. Check with each individual buffet for more information.

M Resort

I've written about the M before and to frequent readers and locals in the know will find ot of little surprise that it rnaks among my favorite buffets as well. The Studio B buffet at M has been voted the best buffet in Las Vegas by the readers of the Las Vegas Review Journal. That means people like you rave about the place. If you have yet to sample the more than 200 tasty items then Thanksgiving weekend is the best time to work your way through this taste explosion. When you're done make a bet at the M Sportsbook, another personal fave.

The Mirage

Cravings Buffet more than lives up to its name. Add in the cheaper than average price and you'll crave all the great offerings again and again. Each Thanksgiving they add a selection of Thanksgiving fare that make cooking at home seem a chore. After Turkey Day Dinner make friends with some famous Brits at The Beatles LOVE by Cirque du Soleil.

The Palms

Pumpkin soup, granny smith apple stuffing and yummy Mongolian food make The Bistro Buffet at the Palms a great place to gather with friends for Thanksgiving. Top of the evening with a show at The Pearl. See the concert schedule here.

Paris

The French helped us win our independence from Great Britain so it seems somehow appropriate to celebrate Thanksgiving at Le Village Buffet at Paris. Enjoy a sampling of Continental and American cuisine that includes all the Thanksgiving Day favorites. Check out Anthony Cools after supping on some fine food.

Planet Hollywood

While planet Hollywood is still a relative newbie by Vegas standards The Spice Market Buffet ranks among Vegas' best buffets. With a a tasty variety the envy of some larger buffet's Spice Market is a great place to take the kids for Thanksgiving.

The Rio

The Carnival World Buffet may be one of the best kept secrets in Vegas. Stunning selection combined with top quality execution make this massive buffet a must eat on Thanksgiving or any other day. Penn and Teller would love to help you celebrate the holiday weekend.

Station Casinos

Like the coast Casino family the Station Casinos are local favorites. A bit less glitzy and over the top than many of their Strip brethren, The Station Casinos still bring it when it comes to food, especially the buffets.

Wynn

Steve Wynn helped build modern Vegas and he went all out with the Casino that bears his name. Check out the VIP Brunch and the Buffet at Wynn. You will not regret it. Make a bet at the Sportsbook at Wynn.
