Ditch Fridays at the Palms has a simple, if universal premise. Harkening back to the high school days of yore when nothing was better than ditching school and spending a day at the beach, Ditch Fridays ups this premise to levels that would make the teenager in your past gape, praise the heavens and very probably faint.
While the pool party concept isn’t new, the folks at the Palms have taken a new tact and upped the potential for sin, fun and excess. Louder music, stronger drinks and the hint of danger that you just may see your Speedo clad boss float by make this party one that could only be held in Sin City.
2,500-3,500 hard bodied, tanned and bikini clad bodies mob the pool at the Palms each Friday during the summer months. Hosted by Miller Lite, Ditch Friday’s features blue bikini clad beauties who will upgrade anyone spotted swigging down a tasty Miller Lite into the VIP section, where a private bar, DJ and a sense of entitlement make ditching your day job well worth the irate stares of your boss. Unless that is you get that perfect Speedo blackmail photo.
Three bars, The Glass Bar located under the pool giving unique views upward, the Waterfall Bar tucked behind a cascade of water and the aptly named Entry Bar all cater to patrons whether they wish to see or be seen.
