So it looks like this winter will be a short one here in Las Vegas, at least according to Punxsutawney Phil the legendary Groundhog that predicts whether the weather will stay harsh or grow mild. ABC News reports that Phil was not frightened by his shadow and this bodes well for those who love the outdoors.
So now that we know Winter will soon end, lets dust of those hiking shoes and plan our trip to Red Rock or the Grand Canyon. Better yet, head down to Bootleg Canyon and zipline through the warm Spring air, whooping and hollering and celebrating the return of nice weather.
