Every once in a while a little band gets a hit that goes viral and makes them seemingly overnight successes. A few years back it was Kings of Leon with "Sex on Fire." This year it was Foster the People with "Pumped Up Kicks." It was one of those songs that was everywhere, but somehow never got old. Its combo of happy vibe and catchy beats made it a hit and brought California based Foster the People into the mainstream.
So here's a warning my friends, if they are at all like Kings of Leon they will quickly grow too big for venues like the stellar Boulevard Pool at the Cosmopolitan. Nest year when they come you'll have to go to see them at the Thomas and Mack or MGM Grand Garden Arena, and as any concert goer will tell you, smaller is definitely better.
