Woe is me I say. Here I am partway through my article on where to watch your favorite NFL teams in the Las Vegas valley only to discover that the Las Vegas Review Journal has beaten me to the punch with a great article on the same subject. Now that the 2011 NFL season is about to start I've got my Patriots gear ready and plan on heading down to the Cavalier Bar and Lounge on Desert Inn to watch 2010 NFL MVP Tom Brady and crew begin another run for the Lombardi Trophy.
The article by John Pryzbys details at least one watering hole for every team, so even the loneliest displaced fan can feel at home. Whether you're a Cheesehead, a Hog or a poor Bengals fan (so sorry) there's a place where you can feel right at home. While the grandness of the sportsbooks will lure you some weeks, the friendly comforts of screaming and cheering and groaning among fellow believers is a salve that cures all wounds. Go Pats!
