As locals we Las Vegans sometimes forget that the world's best shows are right down on the Strip for us to view anytime we want. The day to day grind of our lives takes over and sometimes we let the best new thing slip by in the night. Well I'm here to give you all that much needed kick in the butt. Take this Labor Day Weekend and take in a show. Act like a tourist for a day and get a room for the night. Lay down a ridiculous bet at your favorite sportsbook.
To help you decide what show to see I've compiled my list of favorite performance shows, which I define as a show that relies heavily on theatrics and is massive in scope. I've chosen some old standbys like the Blue Man Group and O, some newbies like Absinthe and the Lion King.
