It all started in 2004 with Rehab and has since exploded into one of the hottest trends and largest money makers on the Las Vegas Strip. I'm of course talking of the myriad Pool Parties that have come to dominate the summer in Sin City.
In a new article on the subject the Las Vegas Sun the trend has casinos investing tens of millions of dollars into updating their pools to outdo the competition. Clearly, they are reaping in hundreds of millions in revenue and the trend looks to continue with $100 entry fees and $2,000 cabana rental fees the norm. Mix in a healthy dose of celebrity and big name DJ hosted parties and Las Vegas' pool scene is the place to be seen this summer.
