As the 4th of July approaches I'll be filling these pages with events, tidbits and ways to celebrate this most American of holidays. To prep everyone I've composed a little history lesson of sorts.

It is designed to help give all Americans a bit of history behind the burgers, beers, brats and explosions we'll all likely take part in a few weeks from now. Keep your eyes peeled to this spot for further updates, tidbits, oddities and amusing tales.
