Safe Las Vegas Trick-or-Treating

Thursday October 30, 2008
More and more neighborhoods, businesses and churches around the Las Vegas valley are hosting safe trick-or-treat and "Trunk or Treat" events each Halloween to help ensure that kids get some of the fun of roaming around asking for treats while parents get a little more peace of mind.

A few of this year's participants are:

  • Community Lutheran Church Trunk or Treat
  • Hard Rock Hotel and Las Vegas Metro Trunk or Treat
  • East Vegas Christian Center; 6450 E. Stewart Ave
  • Fletcher Jones Toyota/Scion; 3255 E Sahara Ave
  • Trick or Treat on Safe Street at Chancellor Gardens of the Lakes; 2620 Lake Sahara Drive; 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m
  • Harvest Festival at Calvary Chapel Spring Valley; 7175 W. Oquendo Rd.; 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
  • Autumn Festival at Advent United Methodist Church; 3460 N. Ranch Drive; starts at 5:30 p.m.
  • North Las Vegas Police Department's Safe Halloween Event from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the parking lot at Home Depot at 1275 W. Craig Road near MLK Boulevard

Be sure to check your local churches and businesses to see if there are any locatations closer to home, and don't forget to see if it's not too late to help out with your own trunk and candy supply!
