Summerlin Art Festival
The 8th Annual Summerlin Art Festival kicks off Saturday, September 27th, and will feature more than 125 artists and craftsmen from all over the southwest United States. It will run just two days, ending on Sunday the 28th.
Guests will get to browse and buy paintings, pottery, jewelry, metalwork, sculpture, apparel, hand-made soaps, handcrafted dolls, glasswork and woodcrafts. Musicians and performers will also be on hand for some live entertainment, and food and beverages will be available for purchase.
The entertainment schedule will include:
Saturday, September 27:
11:00 a.m.: Ice-carving demonstration by Chef Boupha
12:00 p.m.: Ice-carving demonstration by Chef Boupha
1:00 p.m.: Stomp Out Loud
1:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.: Shawn Eiferman
Sunday, September 28:
11:00 a.m.: Ice-carving demonstration by Chef Boupha
12:00 p.m.: Ice-carving demonstration by Chef Boupha
1:00 p.m.: Stomp Out Loud
1:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.: David Van Such
The festival will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and is located at the Summerlin Centre Community Park (Town Center Dr. between Charleston & Sahara). Parking and admission are both free.
